It could zero out the charges if the plans cost the same. Otherwise it's not a big deal. You also don't get the full 6GB since you change mid cycle. So the amount you can use still varies as well.
How's that $7 Value Pack treating you

Well, it's not showing up on my list of features. But it's working so I'm very confused.

    Thanks for confirming.
Please don't include Telus into this, Telus has never ever renewed a person contract when Changing Rate Plans ever. I think you have it confused with Rogers, it was Rogers each time you called into to do the slightest thing to your account, you were renewed to 3 years & in some cases with out being told. Telus was never part of this scam. I have also heard Bell did this too but I am not 100% certain if they did this or not.

Bell has never once told me I needed to sign a new 3yr agreement upon changing plans (which I have done 2-3 times over the course of my contract).

Is this plan available nationwide. I am in Alberta? Is there a code to give to the CSR when i call? A friend on bell called yesterday and this plan with the 10hrs mobile tv was not mentioned only, the $60 Fab 10 promo on the bell site, same as above, but has unlimited Wifi access listed instead of 10hrs mobile TV.

The site doesn't list mobile TV in Ontario either, but it's there.

    - Can I move to this plan and keep my free "Bundle 12" ?
    - Is there any advantage to be on a standard plan instead of retention one ?

Keeping your bundle discount would be a question for retentions. If approved, you're better off switching. It is cheaper and includes Mobile TV.

Just called to change plan (not by retentions):
    - I can keep the free Value Bundle 12
    - 10% will still apply to the 60$ Bundle. It's valid on every plan of 50$ or more..

    I'm very impressed !
I've kept the info of the rep just in case, I would be my first good plan change experience in > 10 years with bell..

    52$ +txt starting next bill !
Thanks you soo much WorldIRC !

Update: Verify pending changes on Bell web site, had to chat with rep. First one entered old code for Fab 10 Promo, with only 1GB data..

Thanks for this WorldIRC! I still have yet to re-new my contract so I will be sure to call into retentions to see if they can make this sweet deal even better!
