I am thinking about buying the Nexus 7, but I am trying to wait for the 2nd batch, since the recent random reports of hardware and software screen issues. Maybe in August, they will have fixed the issues with the currently being sold batch.
What I am not liking, is the fact that Adobe decided to kill Flash on Android 4.1. It may not be a big deal, but it was one of the reasons why I liked Android over iOS. I don't know many sites that are using HTML5 yet. How would I tell?
If I bought the Nexus 7, I would want to install Flash, and maybe use the default Android stock browser. I currently have a T-Mobile GS2. It won't be cool once all phones start getting JellyBean.
Does the nexus 7 print yahoo emails and how do you open attachments and print them. I have Cloud Print and selected the printer but can't figure out printing on the 7. Thanks for your help
I have the 32GB AT&T LTE version, white. And I am not giving that to anyone lol. Well, it is for sale but that would only be to get an iPad mini. But not sure I want to do that either lol. I mean I love it. I have had all 3 versions.
I've had at least 10 Android phones, so the customization aspect isn't new to me. I know what Android can do and I know what iOS can do. And I prefer iOS. The Nexus would be just something to play with, to see what JB was all about. And because it's smaller, it would be more apt to leave my house in my pocket than my iPad would.
Yeah Its way easier to carry around. The Android butter is super smooth. Can't beat the price.I'm waiting for the Note 2 then I'm passing this to my Daughter.Eliminate the whole phone +Tablet carry around.
I couldn't function daily with an Android phone. I've tried. I used the S3 for a few weeks, and I was not pleasant to be around lol (was waiting on my iPhone 5 to arrive)
Same here with ios,I was trying to get an app to download free music for my ten year old girl couldn't find anything worth it android has tons of these all free.I do admit the sg3 is not as fluid as the iPhone without jellybean but I'm rooted on cm10 so its super buttery smooth extreme battery etc
And most of the stock stuff sucks I like straight android (no touchwiz)
Keyboard sucks (swype)
I use thumbs and or swiftkey 3
Just I'm so used to my apps and easy customization.
Oh yeah, definitely nice we have choices. They are both great. It's all about preference. I am glad we have 2 dominant OS's, because one pushes the other. I've always run my iPhones Jailbroken and I thought that was as customizable, if not more so, as Android. But I think I am gonna run stock from now on. It works, and works well and overall that is the most important thing for me. But was is your recommendation on an app for the Nexus to get free music?
