I got this email?
Dear Customer:

Should you have any further needs regarding this issue, please do not hesitate to call us at 1 800 331-0500 and reference the tracking number shown above.

What does that mean??
I believe thats just the general email that AT&T will send you after contacting them regardless of the question.
I guess the majority of AT&Ts calls are complaints :P
AT&T iPhone 4S Tethered w/USB--------------------------------Xfinity Home Internet
AT&T LTE
I imagine that the message the OP received is merely an automated response and that he will be contacted once his case/issue has been evaluated and/or resolved.
If I'm annoyed and you're annoyed, does that make us a paranoid ??

Yeah sounds like the first step.
Hello guys I'm trying to unlock my iPhone 4 with AT&T. They want a proof of purchase. Is there anyway someone can send me there proof of purchase for there iPhone so I can send it to AT&T. The previous owner doesn't have it. It needs to be by att in 48 hours. Thanks again really appreciated
Well now I called them back and they said they didn't have a proof of purchase. Is there anyway anyone could give me there's. The last owner doesn't have one and he's not contacting me back about it.
Unfortunately, nobody can supply their proof of purchase to help you. The proof of purchase would not identify the IMEI of the your iPhone. Just go online and unlock the phone yourself.
At&t will not help you unlock the iPhone, nor would they be obligated to in this case.
Listen I need an AT&T iPhone proof of purchase to get my iPhone unlocked. Plz my aunts leaving soon back to her country and AT&T won't unlock the phone without a proof of purchase. Can anyone plz help me
How many times and in how many message strings are you going to ask? You were told previously that it won't work to use a proof of purchase for a different phone since they will check the IMEI and it won't match. http://www.howardforums.com/showthre...5#post14871825
Even if it would, I suspect few people would be willing to give you something that has their personal information on it. Not to mention, they might not be able to use it later when they want to unlock their own phone.
This is why you must get all this squared away with the seller BEFORE you buy the phone.
