separate data buckets for Rogers with LTE vs HSPA?

If you have HSPA data, you can't get on LTE.

If you have LTE data, you can get on HSPA?


From what I know Rogers separates data buckets right? You need a new LTE data plan in order to use LTE? What if I have an LTE phone and no LTE plan, I get HSPA right?

What if I get an LTE data plan and no LTE phone (cuz I sold it or broke it or whatever) and I go back to an HSPA phone. My LTE data still works for HSPA right?

I have a LTE data/voice plan and a LTE sim in a Galaxy Tab 7.7 p6800, it works well with H+ and sometimes I switch the device to 2g mode to save battery and it still works perfectly fine.

I also have a Galaxy Note LTE and Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, I do switch my LTE Sim to these devices and still gives me LTE reception in an instant with no problem.
