    Retention seems to mean squat, I think Rogers thinks they can get new customers. It's a dangerous game.

    From what i've read here, i don't think Fido will make a move to match the promotion plans offers by Koodo and Virgin.

    I think they may. But I expect they will take their time and they will try to release a plan that falls short of the others but can be sold as being similar. They will hope people won't notice how inferior it is to their competitors. This has been SOP for Fido for a while now. Always fall just a little short.

    i don't know if they can launch a plan like this :

    30$
    200min daytime
    unlimited nights and week-ends starts at 5PM
    unlimited incoming calls
    unlimited text messages
    CID and VM.

    Plus flexible data plan...5$ for 200MB, 10$ for 500MB, 15$ for 1GB, 20$ for 2GB, 30$ for 5GB.

    What do you think ?

    The my5/my10 is the sweet offer though which makes a big difference for many, including me.

    Plus, Koodo is likely to have the no long distance in Canada offer as part of their plan as well since (as I understand it) they completely did away with LD on almost all their plans recently.

    Fido has never had Fab 10; they likely won't now. If Fido chooses to compete, it'll probably more closely mimic the Virgin / Koodo offerings...and even then, having a combo voice / data plan is not something they've done in a while.

    Yes. Fido desparately needs 'WhoCalled' since I have had numerous occasions where my phone indicates a signal, and next thing I notice is a text message saying I missed a call. An 'unreliable' network surely needs this feature.
