Motorola Droid 3 Gets Very Hot, Overheating! Please Help!

The back of the phone gets very hot, when charging, any even when I am not... Near the speaker phone... and half way up the back of it... Is this a common problem with this phone or something I should talk to Motorola about?

Also I can't sometimes listen to music and surf the web without music skipping badly, or watch YouTube through it's native YouTube app without it chopping and acting up.. it works OK if I use the web browser and use m.youtube.com though.... I was able to multitask like crazy on my old Motorola Atrix 2 which I traded for the Droid 3,
But I am told the Atrix 2 and Droid 3 have the exact same type and speed Processor...

And is there ANY possible way I can get the Ear Piece and Speaker Volume to go any louder?? I used to have a Sprint HTC Evo Shift 4G and I was able to turn on "hearing aid mode" and it made the earpiece extremely loud and very easy to hear, the Droid 3 doesn't seem to work that way.. There's just some situations I been in where I couldn't hear who I was talking to, even turned all the way up..

You might need a new battery, had to replace the one in my phone when it started to get hot.
