Voicemail issues

We switched from Tmobile to Simple last weekend. Overall I'm very happy considering the price difference, but I'm having 2 problems.

1. I moved to FL from NY 10 years ago and never changed the number. When we switched last weekend I
opted for a local number. With the Simple sim in, I receive calls on the new number like I should, but if
someone calls my old NY number it still comes through to this phone. Not a big deal, but I find it strange.

2. Here's the problem. I have not received any voicemail to the new phone number, or notifications.
All messages left are continuing to go to the old Tmobile NY number. If I dial my old number and use my pin
to access my voicemail I get the new messages that people leave when calling my new local number.
My wife ported and kept the same number and does not have issue #2. This is very frustrating. Any ideas?

Any ideas at all would be helpful.

Simple Mobile has not completely finished your port. Call Simple Mobile customer SVC and have them check.
