I never said the Nexus was a bad phone like I said I used it, performance is closed but better on the S3 of course has to do with hardware since the S3 is running the S4 processor while the Nexus is Running TI Omap. anyhow the Quickfix found is temporary you have to do that several times to get it fixed, and Im sorry you might get a loc on GPS I never said you couldnt but the S3 locs within 1 or 2 sec even when rerouting it just has better hardware. There arent any good Jellybean ROMS yet that can improve anything what stock can do and you might lose some functionality(eg GPS, WIFI, BlueTooth, between other bugs), same is for the S3 so I havent flashed any JB Roms I will get, they are coming of course but they are not there yet. and tether is always fun with my Nexus 7 has come in handy . Anyways this is going off Topic go back to talking about the Lightray
Now you are just talking in ignorance when you say there's no good JB roms. There's like 200 JB ROMS out there with many very good ones. Open your eyes. The one I'm using adds functionality , not takes it away. Adds battery life, adds speed (Franco speed kernel), etc. Plus, the ROM fixes the GPS glitch, whatever it is. I was just showing the quick manual fix.
By the way, I downloaded the GPS Test app and from where I am in downtown Atlanta (between skyscrapers) I have
10 in view
10 in use.
So, 10 out of 10.
Maybe in a more open area I would have access to more satellites. But 100% is good enough.

I was really talking about how the dual core Galaxy Nexus with 4.1 Jelly Bean is much better than the single core, 2.3 Gingerbread Lightray. For $350 + tax and shipping, can't be beat.

Oh shet i know about the franco kernel very very well known and its updated alot so always new and improved version of it nize!! like i said before when in a debate never rub in any1's face that ur a dealer cuz authorized dealers are barely ever taken seriously. if u want to discuss info just do it on a even playing feild with us without bring up ur a metro dealer cuz then it makes u look dumb when u cant meet certain expectations if u know what i mean. nothing against u just helping u out a lil.

huh? I havent been discussing about me being dealer I really could care less about it. well from what our ASR informed us as being the same as the S2 which makes it a Dual Core Processor, didnt make anything up, the S2 is indeed a Dual Core processor with an 8 mp camera, with Super Amoled Plus Display 800 x 480 pixels, with 16 gb internal storage. if the info from the Lightray was incorrect was because the information we got from the ASR was Erroneous, but the specs from the S2 are correct. I dont see whats the problem not a big deal get on with your life, nobody cares about this phone anyways.

yes the 16gb card is very nice wonder if metros sticking a movie on it? prob not. its strange that this phone is not dual core i mean i feel that if it was at least a dual 1.2 like the connect with at least a gig of ram it would be a real nice phone if i had not bought my connect recently which i am enjoying very much i would maybe consider this phone if it had those hardware specs. if the price was right i think this would sell good even with the single core. i mean with its screen size and 8 mp camera and hdmi output(if im remembering that right) i know people who would buy it with just those specs alone. i think release it at 350 with a rebate of 50

the one mayor thing that bothers me is why android 2.3 gingerbread that is already 2 OS Upgrades behind ugh we need Jelly bean and since is more of a performance upgrade over ICS it shouldnt be that hard to jump from Gingerbread to Jelly Bean, but I dont see that happening.
The Only Reason I see anyone buying this is the Mobile Hotspot I dont think metro will enable the Connect or older models to have hotspot, even though the connect supports it.

Correct but the reason why metro is pricing this phone like that is all a sales gimmick the dyle tv is the selling point and maybe selling the phone at that price justifies the the fact that this phone has a tv Turner in reality the specs this phone has is to sell it at about $375 but the marketing selling point is the damn tv Turner thingy lol
i cant see myself using dyle when i already have tv programming in my home so where else am i suppose to use this. they should have a huge disclaimer that says do not watch dyle while driving lol
Keep in mind Lightray was suppose to launch last Sept/Oct with VoLTE.
Technology has changed since then. It is easier to launch this device at extremely low volumes than it is to spend time and money updating it or trashing it all together.
Sometimes a phone slides out so far that it misses its opportunity, this is one of them.
It will be a very well performing device given the specs. Meaning, no one has tried to overload this thing with more than the processor can handle.
4.3 super amoled is a beautiful screen.
But I agree, it's priced $100 too high...which, btw, is not due to the Dyle TV feature.
There are only enough Lightray to average 2,200 in each market. That's 11 markets because Sacramento,New Hampshire and Jacksonville wont carry it.
