This phone was flashed to Boost Mobile ($40 a month Unlimited Plan).

I did want to use a better donor phone then a "Sanyo Juno", but hey what can you do?..

I saw that your data connection shows 3g while the Juno is a 1xRTT phone. Is the phone stuck on 3g or did you actually pull out 3g out of a 1xRTT donor?

My guess would be that it only knows 4G and 3G icons? it's really not my idea to use the 1xRTT data donor phones.

Maybe in the future I will get another one and try a 3G donor (like ZTE Warp, HTC EVO Design 4G, LG Marquee, Samsung Replenish, Samsung Transform Ultra, Samsung Galaxy Prevail.)

I've noticed the 3G indicator on Sprint Android phones is a lie, as well. I'm actually surprised no one has made a big stink about it.

Going into the ##debug# menu and checking AAA authentication is the best way to tell if you're really on EVDO.

Flashing is pretty simple. Just need time and patience with a little bit of knowledge! I flashed a couple smartphones back in the day without bricking.

Damn now I'm even more torn. I've been trying to decide between the HTC EVO 4G LTE and the Samsung Galaxy S III on boost to replace my BB. whatever I wind up going with though I want Cyanogenmod on it.

Hey guys sorry for being such a noob but i have been wanting to flash over my Sprint S3 to Boost Mobile. Every thread I have seen has said how to do the process but not how to get the donor files. Now I currently have a Sanyo Incognito and from my understanding that is the best to use as a donor phone. I would like to know how to get all the donor info from it.

He has info for the OG Epic and the Epic Touch. I would imagine the S3 is similar, but I've never done it so YMMV.
