San Fransisco Original Sprint SERO plan + 4 friend/family numbers. $38/mth with taxes

After years on the original Sprint SERO plan, slightly upgraded for $5/mth to allow unlimited anytime calls to 4 non-Sprint numbers, I'm finally making the jump to a "real" smartphone (probably with a T-Mobile pre-paid plan). The Sprint SERO plan currently costs ~$38/mth with taxes (its crept up over the years from ~$32 originally). Its way out of contract.

I have an HTC Pro 2 that I currently use it with that I'll sell for $100 (this includes a SquareTrade warranty good until 10/28/2013). It works, but its not pristine and comes with no accessories.

Iirc, the plan has 500 mins talk (rarely a problem with 4 "free" numbers), 7am-7pm nights+weekends, unlimited (domestic) texts, unlimited data. However you cannot use the latest phones. The best (least worst!) I've found is the HTC Pro 2 running WM 6.5.

If anyone wants it and we can work out how to do this easily, you're welcome to the plan at no charge. I'm in the SF Bay area / Marin and would prefer to do the phone in person.

I expect to be ready to switch by the end of July. I'm still setting up the new phone & plan and will cutover my usage in the next week or two most likely. (Not sure how to handle porting the number, but we can coordinate, and I might not port).

I'm really just doing this as a favour, in case someone really wants this plan and Sprint will allow a changeover. If it becomes a hassle, then I'll just drop it.

It seems its not possible to pass this plan along to someone else while porting its existing number to Google Voice. If someone knows how to do this with Sprint, then I'm happy to work through it if its not too time consuming. Otherwise, I'll port the number to GV and unfortunately the plan will die. It was a great plan while it lasted!
