Those are kinda big. I don't like to carry a brick in my pocket.
Also I want to know if the market place has a tapatalk app.

Board Express Pro support tapatalk; but dealing with a lot of phones the titan is light and the samsung focus s is thin and light so maybe you should try the focus s if not I honestly would just what cuz it sounds like you need another os right now .
Sorry I just don't like the wideness of the phone.

One last thing, does wp7 have Google nav on it's market place? I need a good GPS and I don't know of anything that beats Google's price of free. I need the turn by turn voice, to have directions spoken to me.

I was considering a Lumia 900 for my daughter going off to college. She's on AT&T and they just put up a tower right on her college campus - 4G signal even in building basements! She's been using a basic flip phone for years and was dead set against smartphones. Who ever heard of a teenage girl who DIDN'T want a smartphone?? Maybe she was replaced by a pod-person one night. But now she's decided to join the 21st century and wants an iPhone. She's a Mac user so the iPhone fits the ecosystem really well, but I had hoped to have a Lumia in the family to see how it works. Oh well. I guess I'll have to wait for Sprint to get the new WP8 Lumia and try one myself.
Wait can " tell me " dictate directions to me. I seen videos that it could open apps, look things up and call my contacts. I think it's more advanced than the Google voice. Can it be like a GPS?
And I have already got an order for the Samsung focus flash. So I don't think Nokia drive is on it. Maybe there is a counterpart pre installed on the phone.
Also I know that I said that was my last question but is it possible to uninstall whatever application you want? I dont want any of the at&t pre installed bloat ware.

I recently bought a HTC Radar 4G. So far, I'm very satisfied with the phone, and quite so with the OS. It's responsive, good looking, fast, intuitive. I cannot tell about the specific questions from the original post, but I think the points about the wifi are true (but they don't bother me). Of course, WinMo is now a closed OS, like iOS, maybe you can root the phone and play with it, I don't know, but I certainly don't feel the need to do so.
The fact is, I think that the stock WinMo will be good enough as it is for 95% of its buyers. Among the many (repetitive) softwares in the Marketplace, you'll find what you need, for free or for cash, and if you don't find something you think you need, well maybe you don't really need it after all. The same goes for specific features that you may think you need, chances are that you actually don't. You'll know after a few weeks with the phone and with the OS.
Now, I'm using "you" in my message not necessarily for you specifically, but in general, for most cell phone users. That is, I think hacking/rooting/customizing its phone or OS is overrated. I did it myself with my old TouchPro 2 running WinMo 6.5 by installing a custom ROM and a few "unapproved" softwares. But the next thing I know, I did it all within the first year and as soon as everything worked well, I stopped and used it like that for two years. I don't mean to say that hacking a phone is useless, I understand quite well why, by needs or by principles, people would want to be able to do it and do so. What I'm trying to say is that mobile OS nowadays are, in my opinion, quite good (especially WinMo) and for most users, it's gonna good enough for all they have to do with a cell phone. It's what you do with you phone that is important, not what you think you would do. And that alone should play in your chose of a phone and its OS.
Wait for Windows Phone 8, which should be here in time for the holidays. There are some major hardware changes current WP7 phones do not have, that the OS update requires, and therefore current devices are not upgradable.
That's what I thought about before even thinking of buying a windows device. The bottom line is I was using a few apps and the majority were free.
I am still using my android device right now so it's running.
Tapatalk
Volume plus
Go keyboard ( I like the background you can set for the keyboard )
Amazon app
EBay app
Juice defender
And one game
I know that the majority of those apps either exist on the windows phone market place or have an app that does a similar job.
I did not find an application to raise the music volume way high. I run a lot and enjoy exercising. I need a good amount of music.
A camera that takes decent pictures, because a phone can't replace a camera. Otherwise cameras would not be produced.
I like the UI, the windows phones are fast and fluid. They don't suffer any lag during typing.
So I would want to hack it basically to change the media volume presets.

For right now and I'm avid with all three os you need to stay with android until windows 8 . From the way you speak u should just run an emulator on your phone to see if you need to wait or not.

One of the cool things about Nokia Maps is that you can cache maps of entire states, not just local areas like Google Maps. For anyone who uses GSP to travel long distances this is huge. The time you most need GSP is in fringe areas where there is little or no cell coverage. For those "oh, **** -- where am I?" situations.
Hi can I bother you guys for the son settings for Samsung focus flash? I downloaded the Wireless manager from the Samsung zone. But don't know what to out in and it won't let me put a space in any of the fields. I have straight talk as the carrier.
Thank you.
