My friend owns an iPhone 4S and recently logged onto his Facebook via the mobile app for the iPhone. I wanted to know if you log on using your cell and this app does your cell phone number getting logged onto your Facebook page for everyone to view?
Because my friend and I are dealing with an issue, my ex boyfriend and his friend got ahold of my friend's cell phone number BUT I never gave it out, nor did he post it anywhere online. So how did my ex boyfriend get it when the number isn't posted online?

Natalie Perez, I guess you will have to be more private with your Facebook app. There is an option in Facebook that allows you to show certain information like Address, phone number, date of birth etc. You can either hide these info or show them only to some of your close friends. Check out on that otherwise there is no way your ex-boyfriend could have got your phone number. iPhone apps are so comprehensive these days that you do not really have to worry about security unless you are challenged by expert hackers.
I think they sometimes encourage you to input your cell number; in the words of a wise man, it's a trap!
