I'm temporarily on a Bell prepaid plan and wanted to switch from the pay-per-use 30cent plan to the $40.75 plan with unlimited incoming and unlimited eves and ends. So I Dialed #321 from my handset and got connected to the prepaid automated system.

Now, here's the weird part. There were options to top up my account, add features to my line (which doesn't include changing the base plan), etc. but *no* option to speak to anyone! For example, normally pressing zero will work but this gave a "the selection you entered was invalid" message and no conceiveable option on the keypad, calling back, etc. let me talk to someone.

So I thought I'd give the self-serve site a go. Bell did kindly tell me that I'm eligible for a new television receiver because my old one will soon become obsolete (I have NO Bell TV services at all, just a prepaid line, so where that message came from I have no idea). I chose the new prepaid plan and was given several messages about how this was a change to the terms of my contract (I'm not under contract, so again, no idea where that came from), how the new plan isn't compatible with my current device, how the plans changed during the time I was on the website making changes (?), etc. but finally I hit submit, and got a "technical error."

So I guess my question is, what the heck is going on here and how can I fix my plan? This prepaid line is really only for temporary use, but I'd really like to be on the right plan!

Thanks for any advice.
