This competitive match plan seems to give more daytime minutes Versus the "Others".

So, adding the $11 VP and the $10 unlimited Canadian LD would make this plan $81 or $21, for which you would have 50 minutes more than koodo. $21 for 50 extra minutes. Only if a customer used those 50 extra minutes on koodo, at PPU overage rates, would they pay as much as the Fido customer.
Unlocked iPhone 5, unlocked iPhone 4
Unlimited airtime, Unlimited CAN/US long distance, Unlimited SMS to CAN/US wireless numbers
2500 Call Forwarding minutes to CAN/US numbers
    CiD, 6GB
Google Voice for visual voice mail with message transcription, conditional greetings, unlimited messages (vs 35 message cap), remote retrieval from any PC or phone, no auto-purge after 10 days and most importantly no $7-$8 charge.
    $53

Because Fritz, in exchange for 50 daytime minutes, your competition offers MMS, Canadian LD, and CD / VM @ $60...that's why.

xlnt way of looking at it. illustrates the lunacy of what FIDO is doing to themselves.

Lol why bother?? Koodo gives all you listed for $60 not $60 + $11/$14 + $5/$10/$30

Oh no how will the competition survive this. If Fido allowed a $30/6gb add on-top of the cityfido then it would be somewhat good.

I'm disappointed Fido did not include CID/VM in the plan. I'd bite the bullet if they did.

What's disappointing to me is that it's a Retention only plan. New customers can't sign up for it. AND, it probably means that Retention won't offer anything better than this because it's supposedly very good deal.

    $5 100 Long Distance Minutes
    $30 6GB data
    No SAF and 911

    $52.50 + tax

    Rogers
$17.50 (250 anytime minutes, Unlimited evenings and weekends: 6pm to 7am)
$10 Value Pack (Call ID, 2500 Text, and Voicemail)
    $0 100 Long Distance Minutes
    $10 Retention Flex Data
    $5 6pm evening credit
    GRRF

    Total: $39 + tax

It's a competitive match plan that requires holes to be jumped through to obtain. This plan is offered as a form of retention where the only difference being anyone can get it.

    Question:

Being on the $30 incoming and $30/6 GB plan now, would I have to pay ECF or DECF fees to get onto this plan instead?

The rationale is that I would like the 300 minutes.

^No? You still maintain a data plan.... You only pay cancellation fee when removing contracts.

I called to switch to this plan today. The CSR didn't have any idea what I was talking about, but she took the time to get all the informations related to it, so I was able to get it without any problem.
