Hi there. I am currently on Tmobile's $2/day for unlimited text/EDGE nationwide calling/data. I would go with the $3/day for 3G service, but Tmobile's network does not support iPhone's 3G sequences. Tmobile only charges me on the days I connect to the network.

Is there a similar prepaid AT&T plan being offered?

All iPhones used in GoPhone service require purchase of data packages to use data at all. AT&T will only sell data packages if you also subscribe to thirty day service plans. You cannot purchase data packages if you are using the pay by the minute plan or the daily access plan. You can use pay-per-use data only if you do not have a recognized smartphone.
