Lg 505c Questions

I'm looking to get a different relatively cheap phone that doesn't require me to have the unlimited plan all the time as money can be tight occasionally and saving $15 a month adds up! I also want the phone to be on the verizon network which is why I am interested in the LG 505C... But, I have a couple questions about it that I'm hoping someone on here could answer.

How many text messages can the phone hold?

Are the text messages in threads, or just inbox, outbox format?

Is the phone 3G or at least better speeds then the Samsung R451C (My current phone)?

Does the phone have any video capabilities? (i.e. viewing received since recording isn't possible)

Can custom ringtones be made and used via MicroSD as with other phones?

Any help is appreciated, thank you.

the manual says 835 total messages. 100 of those are mms.

i could find no reference to the speed nor did they have an icon glossery to indicate 3g. and no mention of threaded messages.

i have used a 451c. the browser makes it worse than it is. if this browser is different or is opera mini can be installed then the 1x would be different/better. in the R455c they put mini in the games folder so you got to go down like 6 levels to use it. i dont use the interent for anything on mine.

looks like a nice phone with keyboard otherwise. message pot is big.

I feel like we need someone that owns the phone through straighttalk to shed some light...

i was just trying to help you. i got my manual from straight talk. you will find it hard...not impossible to find users on this forum using the regular phones. i use 1 out of 3 total phones. i posted a question about the 355c and got only a small hit but i did find out what i wanted. so maybe you will too.

Oops. I should pay attention to what the browser does to what I type. http://www.cellphones.ca/cell-phones/lg-505c/specs/ is for the 505C. No video recording and 1XRTT.

I know it is Tracfone but just to give you a idea!

Page 3 is where you start learning. If you want a skin, Ebay has several as well as Amazon.com. The LG attune skin will fit this ( I have one) & if you look for a Iphone case that holds a Iphone with a skin on it on Ebay, that will fit this as well. You may need a stylus as well as I have very small fingers & some times was hitting the wrong key. I ordered a LG stylus pen off of Ebay for $1.50.
