Setting up a AT&T phone on T-Mobile Prepaid

    Hey Guys,
I have a AT&T Samsung Flash Focus that was from a contract plan.

I also have a Tmobile Samsung Dart that is a prepaid.

Is there a way I can transfer service from the Dart to the Flash Focus?

Can't you put the SIM from your Dart into the Flash?

Sure. Unlock the AT&T phone and put your T-Mobile SIM in it. Done!

The Tmobile Sim from your Dash will work on your flash but you won't get 3g / 4g with the flash on Tmobile. The Samsung does not support Tmobile's 1700 aws band. Att has the Nokia Lumia 900 and Tmobile has the Nokia Lumoa 710 windows phones. They both support ALL North American GSM frequencies.

You will only get EDGE speeds on the Focus until TMO refarms spectrum to enable 3G on the 1900 MHz band.

If you want to go that route, you may want to hang onto your Dart and use it as a WiFi hotspot for the Focus.

Do you mean to say Nokia Lumia 900 on AT&T will work on T-Mobile with 4G Speeds? I seriously doubt it..I dont think it has the AWS Bands.

The Lumia 900 won't get 3G on T-Mobile currently as it doesn't support the UTMS Band IV (AWS) used by T-Mobile

See the hardware section of http://www.nokia.com/us-en/products/...pecifications/

T-Mobile plans to offer 3G on Band II (1900), which the 900 supports, in some locations next year.
