    Deleting a CMIME service book

Hey folks. I was wondering if deleting a CMIME service book also removes the messages on the device ? Can someone confirm this ?

    Thanks

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry Bold 9900: Mozilla/5.0 (BlackBerry; U; BlackBerry 9900; en) AppleWebKit/534.11+ (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/7.1.0.391 Mobile Safari/534.11+)

Don't take it from me, but I very much doubt it. Your ability to access certain services (the purpose of the service books) should have no effect on messages already stored on your device.

Deleting a service book is only temporary. Once you reboot the device, the provider will resend that service book back to the device. What exactly are you trying to accomplish here?

    Appreciate the reply.
Trying to remove an email account (user@yahoo.ca) but retain the existing messages from that account on the device.

If you delete that Service Book, the messages will be deleted from the device.
