Blackberry Video Store now available for Canadian Playbook customers

the BlackBerry Video Store powered by Rovi Entertainment Service will be available for all BlackBerry PlayBook customers in Canada starting today.
The BlackBerry Video Store offers a catalog of thousands of movies and TV shows with new releases available for purchase or rent. With the Video Store, customers have the option of streaming a trailer before making a purchase decision, and can also begin watching media as soon as they start to download a file. They won’t have to wait for the entire file to transfer before they can begin enjoying great entertainment on the tablet’s high resolution display or on an HDTV using the BlackBerry PlayBook tablet’s HDMI output.

Canadians can download the Video Store app on BlackBerry App World starting today.

They had a 'free' movie trailer that I was going to check out. They want you to create an account. Ok, no problem. The second page wants you to input CC details. To get a trailer? Ain't happening. A paid movie, sure.

I deleted the app, and pronto.
