I feel Rogers essentially did a bait and switch

If Rogers has admitted that the rep made promises that weren't permitted, not authorized or whatever, that's a breach of contract and Rogers should allow you to walk away without penalty if you so choose.

You keep mentioning Fido, and that's still Rogers, so that isn't a viable option either.

Just got off the phone again, and I think I'm going to leave it alone from this point on. They said what the first rep offered was against Rogers rules and they wont budge. So this is my current plan now:

6gb Super Plan with $15 discount
100 bonus minutes
1000 Canadian ld minutes for $5
Value pack at 50% off

For a total of 51.40 per month plus tax.

The $5 data credit is pending approval from another department, I may get it, and I may not. Who knows

Its not exactly what I was told I would get, but its still an ok plan, and fine for my usage. I'm not going to waste anymore aggravation on it. This will likely be my last contract tho lol

You have a good plan, however you have also experience the bait-and-switch tactics that Rogers is known for. If you don't want to waste much more time, you could email the president at the email listed above and see what happens. If nothing, file online with CCTS. Both require minimal effort and not time on the phone, and may help you.
