It was announced by whom? Wouldn't it have to be "true" if it were "announced"?

I guess if it were announced by VZW it possibly could be true, but I don't really know who it was that put that out in the first place. So I'd be interested in whether or not that's true.

As an earlier poster said if you have unlimited data just get a Voip program like Groove Ip and you have unlimited minutes. I am on a single 450 min plan with unlimited 4g and use GrooveIp for nearly all my outgoing calls especially when I have WIfi of 4g coverage. If all you have is 3g then just use it on Wifi when available. I also have a spare old LG flip Phone activated on Page Plus with a 3 mos $25 (400 minute) pin that I almost never use now that I use VOIP. Why do you think VZW is pushing data and unlimited plans. Because in the near future they plan on converting to VOLTE which is just an advanced VOIP data type service that they can control and keep you under contract.
