Is it hard to unlock a phone? I need an unlocked att or tmobile phone but it would be so much cheaper and easier to find if I didn't have to buy it already unlocked. Any instructions on how to unlock any gsm android phone?

I have recently heard that unlock codes are available for free now? Is this true? If so where do you find these codes?
