Be prepared to talk about how you are effective seller. They are looking for people who have the ability to turn customers who are "just looking" into customers who buy today. It is also important for you to demonstrate how you have been able to overcome objections during the sales process, and handle difficult situations. They really could care less how much you know about phones as that is considered a skill that is easily trainable. The emphasis is really on solid retail sales acumen and customer relations skills as it is much more difficult to train people on those competencies.
It's a corporate store
As mentioned, Corporate Stores want associates with Retail skills, not "phone expertise". Those that can convince "window shoppers or thinkers" to walk out with a phone are the ideal candidate. On top of that, CSAT (Customer Satisfaction) is the second most important thing (pre and post-sale); convincing the interviewer of your abilities to handle that are paramount. And thirdly, compliance. Believe it or not, as much as a manager may tell you otherwise, your ability to be the "ideal Rogers Retail employee" is what your manager and their boss are going to want from you. Compliance is a word that you will hear a lot if you get the job; keep that in the back of your head!
I had the interview today and i think i killed it!![]()
