Galaxy S3 i747 running hot

I've had my new S3 for about a week now. I'm having a lot of fun with it. Love the android customizability compared to what I was used to with iOS. And the Android Play app store...great!

Anyone else having their S3 get hot when using programs (apps) like Assistant? Other apps have been doing this also. When I put it to sleep it cools down quickly enough. It's warm enough that I am beginning to wonder if something is wrong with it, or am I just using apps that are too labour intensive for it?

Yes, I got mine few days back and noticed similar 'problem'. Got really hot as I streamed videos, web browsing for about an hour.

Infact, I noticed while getting charged, it became even hotter. All that effort from Samsung to lower the form factor, they must have eliminated some CPU fan to save space ;-)

It seems to be only certain apps that do this. I found things like Skyvi, Assistant, etc the voice apps. i guess they were taxing on the CPU??? I spent 1 solid hour on the S3 last night on other apps that I guess were less labour intensive and it didn't even get warm.

Mine runs hot. You have a dual core 1,5 ghz processor in there without a fan so expect it to run hot from time to time.
