    Rogers vs Wind Mobile

Which would be a better choice? I like winds $40 plan but I am looking at the galaxy s3 and it is almost double the price on Wind compared to Rogers. Any thoughts?

Depends what you're looking for, but personally I can't go back to an HSPA network.
The experience on LTE is phenomenal, which means I would pick Rogers over Wind.
Of course that means you're paying more per month, but you get a better network overall.

Why not join bell, if you want a reliable network go with bell and it's cheaper than Rogers.

I am in Manitoba and bell is not an option right now and neither is LTE. Also, I am in Steinbach and coverage wise, Rogers looks like the way to go.

Well up front it may cost more but you would have to tie into a contract for 36 months to get a subsidized phone with Rogers. Some people don't mind this and others try to avoid this. The wind plan is $40 vs. (let's say) Rogers Super 6GB $60 (not including VM & CID), you'll pay about $20 more a month or $720 over 3 years. But then again, WIND has the supertab and you'll get a subsidy of $350 of which you may have to pay a pro-rated portion if you cancel before you pay back your tab.

The choice is yours, the Rogers network currently is better or you'll have to live with Wind's developing network. That being said, I just say live within your means. Do you need a SGSIII? Or do you want it because it currently is the hottest phone? Maybe that may not be an issue for you. But it does sound like you're sensitive to a few hundred bucks so maybe you should just keep it in your pocket rather than handing it over to the Telco's!!!
    My Plan
    200 mins + 250 bonus mins = 450 mins + eve/wkds from 6pm + 6 GB data + Value Pack (CID/VM/2500 texts) + R2R + 100 Cdn Long distance mins + GRFF - credits = $39.35 before taxes

There is no choice. Wind has no service in Manitoba.
    Rogers:
    Unlimited Canada-wide calling, 2500 sent SMS - $35; 6GB Data - $30 less $10; Call Fwd/xfr - N/C; Local UMA - N/C; Value Pak - $10

    Moblicity:
    $23 BTS

I would test Wind's coverage in the areas you mostly travel to, indoor and outdoor personally.

Had to meet a friend @ Woodside Square (Finch and McCowan), kept texting and calling ... no response.

Went into the mall to look for him, finds out he's been trying to text me and his signal kept cutting on him. Dude was on Wind, I didn't expect it to be that bad in city limits.

    EDIT:
    fruvous

Meant to say in general for anyone in the coverage area.

I had both awhile back. Where I was on the 35.00 Chatr rogers plan and 20.00 infinite laptop plan ...which I used for laptop and smartphone.
