Either way, they need these changes to stay competitive with NET10 ($50) and ST ($45) and slightly less so AT&T MVNOs like Red Pocket.
Still wish they would just set a cap for throttling so theres no need to kick people off.
It is worth noting that AM (who just bought Simple Mobile) owns NET10 and ST -- they are making quite a presence and, although generally reduced competition is bad, in this case a LARGE prepaid 'mega-carrier' may turn out to be a great thing as they position themselves as a fifth party to the 'big 4' and gain in their ability to negotiate discounted MVNO rates.

Simple Mobile and Net10 are important for indie dealers so they have something to throw at the Walmart monopolized Straight Talk brand. I think the ST deal is near unbeatable, especially on the gsm side and Verizon side. Sprint side not so much...
