No Jelly Bean for XOOMS, Verizon does it again!

The WIFI XOOMS got Jelly Bean, so I ask Verizon when the Verizon Lte XOOM would be getting it. This is what I got emailed back.

Hi sir, after extensive research, at this time VZW isn’t going to be lunching the Jelly Bean software. Thanks and have a great day.

Well it would be up to Samsung first then ATT for testing. I would say there would be a good chance given how not very old the phone is.

I am wondering if my Atrix 2 would get it since google owns motorola....wishful thinking most likely lol.

Moto did quite an awesome job with how close to original their ICS releases are. Heck gingerbread on this phone is quite good coming from a Nexus One and i hated their OS on the Bravo.

I was hoping for a Google influence to get JB on a year old XOOM tablet. But now that I registered in the Moto forum, they are saying that it is going to happen, and that they were the ones doing the signup for the XOOM WIFI only soak test!

So, I guess, I wait.
