I've been with Fido for a very long time, and up until recently had to plans whatsoever to switch (especially to Bell). However, my previous phone, the SGSII (unlocked) completely crapped out on me and left me phoneless. I was in Toronto at the time (currently living in Port Carling) and seeing as I was really limited on time decided to jump ship to Bell since they were offering me the best deal (and a brand-spankin new GSIII). However, nearly 2 weeks in and I feel like I've been screwed into this deal on the hopes that I would be apathetic to it.
Here's the plan that I was sold on:
$53.00
200 anytime minutes
Unlimited E/W
Data: 200MB (not a heavy user)
Phone features included: Call waiting, conf calling, Message Centre & Call Display
All that for 53 bucks seemed reasonable enough, and as I didn't have time to shop around because I had to go back home within hours I took it. HOWEVER, as you notice the bolded part...I'm paying an extra $12 for the Message Centre & Call Display. Says so in My Bell account. I called the "Wireless etc" representative that sold me the package and he says that his contact at Bell is taking care of it, but she's taking her sweet *** time. The return policy is 15 days, which will expire on Tuesday July 31st (unless the 15 days means business days only), and if I don't get what I was told I'm getting for the $53 I have every intention of cancelling/returning everything.
My question to guys is this: is this normal? Is there any chance I get the Message Centre and Caller ID included for free or should I give up on that and go shop somewhere else? Is there any leverage that I have to possibly get something out of this?
Thanks

So even if I have an actual print out of the plan, with all that included, I still won't get it?
Where did you get this print out? Bell offers no retail consumer plan that includes the $12 Bundle at $0 and Bell has no official print out (created by Bell) that advertises this. Is this a Wireless ETC print out? Is this a Black and White flyer they had sitting at the store?
Here's a picture of the print-out that I was given.
^The flyer clearly shows it should be included, what does it say on your actual agreement?
Wireless wave messed up. I don't think they have the authority to make it right though beyond canceling the service at no cost. This has nothing to do with Bell though as this wasn't an authorized Bell advertisement.

Yea looks like Wireless Wave have made the mistake. You should go see them. Either they offer to make it right or you should get a walk.
Just don't lose that paper!

How about the unlimited incoming and waived activation? Are those accurate, and are they applicable to the new 6GB plan?
And how come the cancellation fee is only max $400?
