No but WiFi is generally a battery-killer and Android phones don't have a good rep for battery life. Put the two together and you don't have a good combination. My wife pretty much keeps her Android phone plugged in whenever possible.

I had the HTC One S And while home it was connected to Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi calling turned on. But it would just kill the battery. Which apparently HTC and TMO are aware of.
But I know the Samsung Galaxy S3 has a bigger battery. But I was wondering if Wi-Fi calling kills the battery of the S3 as it does on the One S?
Anyone have personal experience with the S3 and Wi-Fi calling?
Thanks

In general, WiFi should be less of a battery killer than being on a cellular network as the WiFi signal should be more consistent and stronger.
I have WiFi on all the time and my battery is fine. On my defy it will last 2-3 days with WiFi calling on 24/7
