I have an At&t iPhone 4S with baseband 2.0.10 and iOS 5.1.1 will the gevey chip work on my phone or is there another way to unlock my iPhone?

thanks in advance for any help.

SAM unlock was blocked just days after it was released, only those that took advantage and backed up the activation tickets for future use, can still use it to unlock a particular sim. You can try the IMEI unlocks advertised all over the place, but they are not official and could possibly get reversed by Apple at anytime.

Yea you can factory unlock ive done about 35 so far no problems even if you are on contract, stolen, or not doesn't matter. PM me for more info if you are interested.

Also the money you would spend on a gevey sim isn't worth it compared to a factory unlock price for iphone.

    Wait, What?

You are saying you are willing to unlock stolen phones? Do you want to clarify that claim, or should we just assume you are willing to abet thieves in making their swag more valuable?

Why would you think that is acceptable, especially on a forum where users may have been the victim of theft and are seeking advice relating to recovering their property?

I don't care where the iPhone came from, I am saying that I can unlock the phone with what ever state the phone is listed in. Basically I was trying to prove a point if the phone is sold to you, or you found it, or your are still in contract what ever I can unlock it. I didn't sit here and say hey go steal a phone ill unlock it.

Only phone worth risking a unofficial IMEI unlock on is a 04.11.08 or higher baseband ATT iPhone 4, on anything else use software or Gevey. If you purchase the unofficial IMEI unlock from someone(usually very little overhead, yet they charge an arm and leg), you risk the possibility that Apple can reverse the unlock since it was not done through the proper channels and you're out the unreasonably high expense for such.

    Oh, OK.

You have given us some valuable insight into your morals as a business man. Reminds me of the salvage yards buying "Scrap" metal that is unused copper, lead, etc. that is frequently stolen from building sites and other locations. Or, "Hey, did you know this iPhone is reported stolen?" I'll unlock it for you, so you can sell it on Ebay.

Just my opinion, I do not expect you to agree, from what I've read so far.

I understand where you come from, believe me I don't like stolen phones either, I mean I have got about 100 stolen phones in my store and have sent them back to the company. I know its wrong, but then again when I got 2-3 people down the street from me unlocking phones and making money taking my business, I have to protect my business too. I am in Detroit, the cops couldn't give 2 ***** about a stolen phone, they steal them from people they arrest and sell them themselves. Where I am at its very corrupt and im not going to let people drag me out of business, when not even the law enforcement cares. I appreciate the concern though.
