    Tmobile $30 plan

Well long story short. went to tmobile said i couldn't get that sweet $30 plan with unlim text and 5gb of web also said it wasn't really 5gb only 2gb of high speed and throttle for the remaining 3gb before the cut off.So then I went to walmart since tmobile told me to, since they're the only one providing the $30 plan. Walked in talked to the lady she pretty much said to go back to tmobile. So i said screw it, now i need your help for clarification!

    1. Is the data really 5gb of high speed?
    2. What are the steps to actually go get this plan without all this hassle?(I already have a Samsung Galaxy 4g)
    3. Is the $30 plan actually solid or is it too good to be true?
    4. I'm still on T-mobile but my contract ended, is there any way to port my number to the prepaid?
    5. Does this plan come with unlimited mobile to mobile? Most of my family and friends use tmobile

    Thanks for the help guys!

good Lord. Does no one ever go to tmo's web site?

WM screwed up. Yes, they sell that plan.

Please go to tmo's web site. It's all laid out there.

Please be aware that, just like the web site says, this is NOT available anywhere but WM and the tmo web site. You went into a tmo store and started asking question about a plan they know nothing about and don't sell; what did you think was going to happen? They're going to do anything they can to get you to buy from THEM. That's their job. And, just like anyone else in the world, they'll lie to you to try to get that to happen. And they lied to you, about something they know NOTHING of. I mean, what would you expect a Lexus dealer to tell you if you go in there asking about Toyota cars? Sure it's all the same company at the very top, but on the streets they compete with each other. T-mo store competes not only with AT&T et al., but also with tmo plans that the store doesn't sell. Either way, it's money *not* in his pocket, and he'll do anything to change that.

it's not "too good to be true". It is what they say it is, exactly as outlined on tmo's web site.

please go to tmo's web site, everything is laid out there. Really. Truly.

It's also here, if you search around a bit. It's heavily discussed, has been for quite some time now.

    1) Yep... 4G up to 5GB. Best deal out there IMO. You probably won't use anywhere near 5GB unless you tether.
    2) Buy a sim on TMO's website for 99 cents and activate it online with this plan.
    3) It better exist... I'm on it.
    4) It has been done. Depends if you get a TMO rep on the phone who's "agreeable". If not... keep calling.
    5) Nope... You get 100 anytime minutes. Use Talkatone or Groove IP to make unlimited calls via VOIP for free.
