just curious, where you able to keep the $30 unlimited plan doing this, or did you switch to the capped plan?

I have a Droid Razr Maxx, the issue I have is mine gets REALLY hot while downloading large files over LTE, so much so that the phone shuts off after a prompt shows up on the screen.

I wasn't sure I was able to keep it but they said keeping it was no problem. I was prob one of the last customers they allowed to get unlimited before they closed that door. My wifes line is stuck on the tiered. Im prob an ideal customer since I use low data for having unlimited and my wife doesn't use all that much

Forgot to mention, there was no pressure for me to switch to the new shared plans or any pressure for me to go on a tiered data plan. In fact, I was given the option of adding two 10 dollar text plans if I wanted but I'm happy with the texting I have now.

Oh, the old antennagate....Yes, I do remember those issues. but those issues were corrected in the Verizon iteration of the iPhone and, from the lack of recent complaining, it seems that issue no longer exists. With Android however, I've been using/selling those numerous devices since November 2009, and to this day I still get complaints about half-day battery life, random shut downs, multitudes of force closes on apps, incorrect time zones (Thunderbolt, anyone?), GPS draining phone to dead (Nexus, anyone?), not to mention some of the "dead pixel" issues on some of the earlier Androids, etc, etc,.

When the iPhone has an issue, it makes the evening news (like "antennagate" did). When an Android has an issue, it's just par for the course, and is as normal as the sun coming up in the morning. Come work in a store for a few weeks, you'll see what I mean.
Low price, Excellent Service, High Quality. Pick any two, but you never get all three.

Amazing how Verizon can conjure enough of these to sell as certified pre owned

    Be careful about that overheatiing.

That plastic bag polymer hybrid battery design has been known to gas up and actually burst explosively in extreme cases.
