The most amazing Bell Employee Plan?

My friend who is not a bell employee just got the most amazing plan in the world from Bell.
He said its an employee plan, so was just wondering if you guys know anything about this

    $40
    200min
    100mb??
    CD+VM

EDIT: It comes with unlimited text as well

Free hardware upgrade every year (any phone they sell) + get to keep old phone, and this plan has no expiry date!!

If you get the latest phone every year, you can probably sell it for $350 if you unlock it yourself, this friend has the iphone 4, so he can probs sell it for $350 and so his plan every year would cost about $480-$350 = $130!!!

The yearly upgrade is amazing.. However, the actual plan itself is horrible.. IMO. What was your friend thinking? So many providers offer in-market plans that are way superior

Oh sorry!! This plan offers unlimited text as well.

The same thing I was thinking. I use virtually no data, virtually no calls, text like crazy and think that paying more than $25 for a plan is too much, only the yearly upgrade makes this attractive.

We have no use for 500 minutes, 1Gb of data, MY10 and all that crap, we only need basics, but we do love shiny new phones every year. So if you offer me $50 for 500min + 1Gb, I would take $40 with 100min and 100mb

So sure I could jump ship somewhere else, but do any other places offer this yearly upgrade plan for only $40? Because if so, I will be happy to jump ship

Looks like a consumer plan (almost) to me....the yearly upgrades though are a sweet deal (usually reserved for government)

You say its horrible, I'm not a huge expert on plans but going out on a limb what other company offers yearly upgrades on a $40 contract, no matter what's in that contract?

Because if you think about it you are only paying $130 for the $40 plan if you sell your phone for $350, maybe a bit more, so $10 or even $20 a month for 100min + 100mb is pretty good

Government (gov, education, hospitals, etc..) offers yearly upgrade, their plan is cheaper, much more inclusive of features.

I'm not hear to discuss corporate rate plans in full detail....If you work for Hydro One, then ask your HR department to share the plan details with you.

Look, if you don't work for said company, you're not eligible for said company plan. It really is that simple; these plans are reserved for employees of the companies.

is the Bell Employee Plan open for Quebec? can any dealer gave you it and is it eligible with the 35% discount?

I am interested in it. I never hear about it before. I just know we get 35% off on any in-market plan.

Yep my govt corp plan required me to submit my pay stub to prove I was working for public institution.

Our plan is not bad..ere is what we get:

    250 minutes
    Unlimited Evenings Weekends
    Unlimited text
    Voicemail, call display
    Detailed paper billing
    Upgrades every 12 months
    $21

For an extra $30, I add 6GB of data.

Good thing is, my wife is also on the plan, and her contract is staggered by 6 months so we get a new phone every 6 months, and my wife is happy with her iPhone so I get to keep the new one each time.
