200kbps and lower. If the specific tower you're using is overloaded then even lower. 2G is okay for basic things such as twitter or Web browsing using opera mini. Also I can normally get the I heart radio app to work ok.

Can somebody give me an idea of what kinds of 2G data speeds are available using iPhone4 on T-mobile? I have heard rumors they can be much better than expected. I can't test this here in Canada. Sounds like T-mobile is getting 3G on 1900mhz but no clear timetable.

If you have a little patience you can stream Pandora (high quality even)/Slacker, do Navigation, sync your e-mail, check your FB, and read the news. FB, Pandora, and Maps take a little longer to download but once they got it they work great. If you are navigating and have Edge all the way you will have the next part of map downloaded before you really need it from my experience. Of course I'm talking Google Nav on Android.
