    I am sure those phones are flashed with a different ROM (flashing is another story). No need to even look at the thread. Out of the box, you CANNOT use any sprint/verizon GSM/CDMA phone with a tmobile/AT&T sim in it, period!

    The iPhone 4S does not support T-Mobile's 3G. T-Mobile uses AWS for 3G, which no iPhone currently supports.

    it does support t-mobile 3g. you're lucky if you live in an area where they already made the refarmed spectrum available for consumer's use...

    Where is T-Mobile using 850/1900? I know they talked about expanding roaming, but didn't know they had areas with 850/1900 native.
