I think the most Nokia phones sold probably goes to the 51XX series (5110, 5120, 5130, 5140, 5160, 5185, 5190). It was one of the first Nokia phones with "Xpress on" changeable faceplates. Actually, it had a longer life than the "33XX" line. It was sold by most of the carriers both GSM and CDMA.

I agree with the 3310. But i think 3210 or 5510 should be there than 1100.

The 1110 may be the best selling phone of all time, but the 51xx series has a special place here in North America. I remember the 51xx series phones were *THE* phone that almost everyone got at the same time that everyone was buying their first phone. Sure, cellphones were out before that (like the 2160 I had), but before the 51xx came out cellphones were not the necessity they are today. It seems that the 51xx was the go-to phone for everyone buying their first cellphone in the late 90s.

Not only that the 51XX series was the first introduced by Nokia that had the "Xpress-on" fascia/face plates that all the other manufacturers copied. It's a shame that Nokia who was the largest manufacturer of mobile phones didn't think fast enough and let Apple and Samsung eat their lunch. I wouldn't be surprised if Nokia gets swallowed up by another company or investment group.
