Can you purchase a phone from WIND w/o a parent or guardian if you're 16 years old?

Do you have to be 18+ to purchase a phone from WIND without a parent or guardian or can you purchase a WIND phone on your own if you're 16?

Extra Details: I have my own money and I'm planning on buying a Galaxy Nexus with the $25 plan.

You'd be able to buy straight out and do pre-paid for the plans. I doubt you can do post paid, you have no credit rating at your age.

So I won't be able to buy a Galaxy Nexus with a $25 plan unless I bring my parents or a legal guardian with me?

You can buy it. You just don't get the phone on the subsidy. Would have t9 buy it outright.

You should wait around $29 plan. Its better than the current $25 and it will have unltd local + unltd data.

What do you mean by not getting the phone on the subsidy? & When will the $29 plan come out?

Also, will the price of the Galaxy be slightly higher on that plan?

I'd encourage you to check the website.

Because you are not of legal age to agree to a contract the only way to get on WIND is with Pay Before.

With Pay Before there is no WINDtab (contract) and you must buy the phone (if they let you) outright.

Galaxy Nexus is $499.99 outright at WIND and you must pay tax.

Since all GSM Galaxy Nexus are pentaband HSPA+ (will work on any 3G Network worldwide), buy one off Kijiji. A hot price right now is $350 and I got mine for that price. Plus! No tax.

tl;dr answer: Yes you can sign up with WIND on Pay Before and pay $500+tax for a Galaxy Nexus without being 18+yrs old.

There was some post saying something about being able to put a deposit down, for people who don't pass the credit check.
So you put let's say a deposit down of $ 250 and can go on postpaid possibly with a windtab.

If this is not introduced, you have to buy the phone outright and go on prepaid. I personally prefer prepaid anyway, as you will never get any bill suprises.

Also you don't have to buy the galaxy nexus from Wind you can purchase cheaper elsewhere.
    However check for Warranty

    you can purchase at

    canadagsm.ca

    encorecellular.ca

Yes, you can buy it on your own if you pay full price.

No point in a credit check without any credit.
