Anyone that is running this phone on Page Plus should be sure to check for updates....if you have not already received notification. Information is the first item on this page.

This will update the items indicated, and will be necessary before the Windows 7.8 upgrade which will be coming along "soon"

Just in case someone doesn't know, no phone running Windows Phone 7 will be able to upgrade to version 8. The purpose of 7.8 will be to get some of the UI changes of WP8, but that's it. On the other hand, WP8 will be backwards compatible with WP7 apps.

WP8 will use the same kernel as Windows 8, and it's possible that such software would have been too much for older phones.
