Signing up for a new prepaid account?

    hi everyone,

i'm sick of no signal with WIND and am looking to port into VMC. i have a few questions:

    1) i can't figure out how to port online. do i have to do this in store? does it have to be an official VMC store?

    2) the plan i'm looking at is a $35 prepaid plan. i'm assuming there is tax, are there any other fees?

    3) am i able to top-up any arbitrary amount, like $42, or does it have to be a set denomination?

    4) is the network and reception the same as bell, just different plans/customer service?

    thanks!

^1)There is no option to port in a number online, if you are like me who like to things on your own, what I suggest is activate on line and you can call in after to request a port.
    2) Same exact shared HSPA network on Virgin, Bell, Solo, Koodo & Telus Mobility
    3) Top ups have to based on there card denomination
    4) When you buy top cards you are charged tax, there is a mandatory 911 fee in certain provinces, which actually really does goes to the Government.
