tmobile plan decisions.. advise needed.

I have been using my hd2 (winmo 6.5 which I love) Unfortunately choices with winmo 6.5 have disappeared so we're off to the android track with a samsung galaxy 3s.

My plans are the 89.00 customer loyality plan and total internet plan with corp discount. I found out that total internet isnt working on the android (not happy)

ive renewed a few times and they turned the total internet on and off while attempting to process the rebate so my gut is i only have the 5 gig anyway but no one knows for sure.

My questions are:

1.should i switch to the 20.00 preferred android plan or is there a work around (Like unlocking or something). During all this they updated my sim which could have been a problem also.
My ideal would be moving the sim between phones.

2., do the older sims work with andorid better than the newer ones?

3.i have the 89.00 customer loyality plan . i dont need texting but always manage to get a couple a month. Do both the newer 99.00 plan and the 89.00 plan both qualify for the corp discounts?

4. Is there a workaround for teetering with the s3? i used to be able to do it with the hd2. if there isnt, then that would encourage me to continue using my hd2 for teetering and not change plans.

(why does tmobile have to play these different data plan games )

Old sim cards work on Android phones, but the s3 uses a micro sim. So if you plan on upgrading to that phone, you will need to change your sim. Both plans work with corp discount.

ahh.. so changing my sim was the problem?

What about if I went back to the old sim and cut it to fit into the galaxy3? Is it possible to transfer back?

When I was using the hd2 i never noticed a large amount of data being used before.howeer since switching in a day it used almost a gig with resco radio so im wondering if data is counted differently.

Ive been with tmobile for around 8 years and Ive always tried to keep my data plan uneffected. About a month ago i bought the samsung galaxy s3 and my memory is it was working with total internet. For the rebate they said i would have to switch from the total internet plan but they would switch me back afterwards.

also during the time they had me on the "android plan" i updated my sim. Do you think its the sim thats the problem or the plan change? Can the old sim be reactivated or can i buy one off ebay and cut it down to work with the 3s? If getting an old sim off ebay will get me back to normal, ill do that.
