It can take up to 64GB with no problem AFAIK, most Androids with decent HW will manage up to a 64GBso you'll be fine with even a class4 16 or 32GB card SanDisk, those are going for great prices right now.

Is there a maximum SD gigabyte size for Droid 2?
I am new to smartphones and put a little 1Gb SD card in the phone. I will get a larger card but don't want to get something that can't be used.
You mean like talk? No, no, this is a smartphone. 'Scuse me while I charge it again.

Thanks much. I will go for a 32Gb - that should hold just about everything for this noob.
Great choice, its awesome not having to even care about how much more storage you have in your phone.
