T-Mobile says I have no data left on $30 Unlimited Data plan one day before renewal
I have a galaxy nexus on the $30 unlimited data plan, which I set up through T-Mobile's website. I currently have a large enough balance in my account to cover the renewal, which is supposed to take place tomorrow. Now my account says "Not Paid" and I can't get any data. I called them up and they tried to forward me to Walmart family mobile, but I didn't get my service through Walmart. The lady on the phone said she would have to change my plan in order to help me.
Has anyone had this problem before with losing data one day before renewal?
I should add that wheni try to use my browser I get a t-mobile wed2go page that tells me "you currently do not have data service" and it tells me to either renew early or change my plan. Even if I wanted to renew a day early, I can't figure out how to do it on the phone or through my tmobile, since there is nowhere an option to use the funds already in my account.
I had a similar problem on my first renewal. I had $50 in my account by using a CallingMart PIN, but on the day of renewal, that money was not used to renew my account, so I was basically using the $50 on a per minute/text basis and had no data. I tried 3 online chats and was directed to 2 different phone numbers but noone could help me. It was late at night, so I finally used the T-mobile site to add $30 to my account and that re-activated my account.
On the second renewal, the $30 was taken out of my account properly. It seems like T-Mobile can't seem to get its act together until after the first full month. There was another person that had the same problem, but he was able to go through T-mobile help line to resolve the problem.
I had the same problem. I had plenty of funds available in my account balance, I had (thought) I had set up for auto-refill using my credit card, but still got my data disconnected the day before it was set to renew. This was the transition from my 1st to 2nd month of service (I'm on the "Walmart" $30 plan).
I called t-mobile support, and they got it resolved without too much extra hassle, but this should've worked automatically from the start. We'll see if they get it right next month...
Thanks. Mi went to online chat and the rep just renewed my service-- one day early, but if it only happens this once I'll let it slide. We'll see what happens next month. I wonder if it's because I'm not using a phone I got from T-Mobile? My wife didn't have this problem with her Exhibit...
Auto-refill has a way to set a date a few days before the end of the 30 days to charge your credit card and put funds in your account before the expiration date. This is "supposed" to avoid these problems. I have it set up for two days before (suggested by TM) but I am still in my first month. Hopefully it will work.

I don't use my credit card, I use callingmart cards to save money. There's no way to set up auto pay with those but I already had over $30 in my account, so it should have automatically re-upped my account anyway.
I had the same problem. I was $ 0.34 over what I needed and it didn't automatically renew. When I tried to call in, the *611 wasn't working for some reason, so I added $10.00 to my account, thinking that maybe there were extra fees that I didn't know about. It renewed right away and I now have a $10.34 balance. Makes no sense...
Another thing that I noticed this past renewal period (the second time) is that the Tmobile website said the renewal date was 7/22, but the MyAccount app on the phone said it was 7/23. The plan didn't renew until the 23rd.
