    Expected data speeds on Koodo

    Hey guys,

Thinking of jumping ship to Koodo, from Mobi. Plan's to buy a HTC One V on tab, and a 6GB plan.
    Couple of questions:
    • How are the data speeds on Koodo overall?(my main gripe with Mobi) Coverage I guess shouldn't be a problem where I stay mostly (down town Toronto).
    • Does anyone of you own the One V? I know it has favorable reviews, but any first hand experiences would be helpful.

    TIA

Thanks for the reply. I do get only to a max of 1mbps download and 0.4 average with mobi. Does expecting at least 2mbps with koodo then sound reasonable?

If you are getting 1Mbps on Mobi I stand corrected, here is what to expect on Koodo, taken in East York on a Galaxy Nexus 21Mbps max.

I gave things a try and downstream data speeds were anywhere between 3 and 13Mbps. When I tested in a bunch of places, those speeds were almost always above 7Mbps. Uploads were usually above 2Mbps and sometimes topped 4Mbps. This was while using an hspa dc capable phone.
