Recovering lost media on mass storage

I have a Nokia 808 Pureview and was having problem with a lot of the basic functionality stop working on my phone. So the phone was master reset before any of my pictures or videos were backed up. Usually I would be able to take a recovery program on windows like recuva to get the files back but my problem was, was that the mass storage was encrypted before the master reset. Would it still be possible access the encrypted data that was reset off the phone?
