I don't know about firefox or your other browser, but both the built-in browser on my phone and dolphin are able to save a picture to a file. Just long press the picture itself and select "save image."
Yea, I thought it was easy too, I do it a lot and the photo winds up in your pic app.
It want let me using the browser that came on my inspire. So I need to download dolphin? Find that in the market? When I view a web page I can't save a pic either. Can you?
So I press the pic then hit menu ? It that where I should see save to option
My software version is webkit533.1 if that helps with browser
I would recommend downloading dolphin. It's a very good browser, and it's free. But I don't think you need that to save a picture. What you need to do is called a long press. Touch the picture and hold your finger on it until a list of options pop up. It takes a second or two.
Do any of you guy's know that Chrome is in the market for Android as of earlier this week? It's killer and you will see the bookmarks from your PC Chrome browser and much more. If you use Chrome on your PC and noticed "mobile bookmarks" a few weeks ago, this is why.
Tel thanks I got it I just wasn't holding it long enough it works good now I figure I was not doing right just needed some pointers. This dolphin is a good browser I'm getting rid of Firefox now. I hear chrome is good
Now I got to figure out copy in paste text. Coming from blackberry to my first android
Hopefully you have found the solution. In some websites pictures are copyright protected. You can’t right click in those sites when you go through a PC. In those sites there is no option for downloading or saving a file unless you pay for them. You can’t also copy the text in the webpage. If you visit those sites don’t curse your browser or your device as the webpage is designed to protect the content.
