I've done countless searches using the same string and can't find any technical explanation. I was considering rooting my S3 for hot spot access but was hesitant. Downloaded Foxfi for the hell of it. Was incredibly simple. The first time it got up and running I got the same "Tethering found please call" and it went off. I simply restarted Foxfi and now it's working like a charm, incredibly fast at that.
So does anyone have any conceptual explanations surrounding the technology ? I suppose it could purposely be under wraps to keep the technology secret but if not please do share !
