Uh ohh AT&T plans to shut down entire 2G network by 2017

I was reading Engadget, and I ready that AT&T plans to shut down entire 2G network by 2017. Now will this be bad for us keitai users in the near future or do you think we'll be able to get 3G in future handsets? Although 2017 maybe a bit far away, I love my 923SH too much!

I guess my 3g soft unlocked phones still work, will need to get a docomo android

But need mms since people keep sending me some, if I get mms on my sh-10c it backs up all sms afterwards.

I dont want to conform, but I guess I may have to ugh

We'll see if more of them include quad or pentaband 3G/3G+/'4G'. The inclusion of the 850MHz frequency would keep this hobby alive.

As for future LTE compatability. forget about it.
