That phone doesn't look like a smartphone, so the free data on the $50 monthly plan should work for watching YouTube as long as the phone has that capability built-in.

ZTE Z431. I saw it online yesterday and my local store also had it on the peg. I'm guessing it is a Pantech Link replacement but you can buy the Link II on the AT&T site.
I wonder if the Z431 will play Youtube like the Link? I like this Blackberry style form factor.
Hmmm, I guess at $2/mb watching even an occasional video would quickly become cost prohibitive.

Found, and bought at Wal Mart in Keene, NH. They actually had to go out back to get it.

"Standby Time: up to 9 hours"
That can't be right.
I think I might keep a eye on it see what the reviews look like
Looks like another generic blackberry imitation. AT&T really needs to step up their gophone lineup. Of course there's people like me who have the blue and white 3G sim card with 0000 as the IMEI so I can use almost any AT&T phone instead of limiting myself to the small selection of gophones.
Does this phone require data? May get it for my nephew but all he does is talk and text.
Will it work on AT&T post-paid without a required data plan. Nice phone for texting. Anyone have insights to call/ voice quality?
I bought one for my sister as a replacement for her aging LG Prime. She seems to like it so far. Compared to my mom's Link, it has a standard microUSB port for data/charging and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The keyboard is a little harder to press, but it just might need to be broken in. I'd get myself one, if I were in the market for a simple phone.
CeluGeek: What's so special about the blue and white SIM cards. I have a mostly-orange SIM card and I can use any compatible phone... even AT&T faux-g phones after adding the correct APN settings.
Same here, I went to an AT&T store to see what was wrong with my phone when I switched devices, the rep told me that after 6 months, the SIM unlocks itself for use with unlocked phones or other AT&T phones.

No data plan needed for AT&T postpaid. I bought one just to play around with I may switch to the gophone plan. Voice quality is very good and clear. Has alot of nice features. I just don't like to stock browser so I downloaded opera mini.

No it's not wifi capable. I like the email feature and the fact its free of charge. I also like the fact you can hit a button and kill task running in the background for example: if I go to menu games and apps and open opera mini I can hit the button and close the games and apps folder and whatever else is open and have more memory for opera.
