Verizon was giving them away free for awhile, but stopped. I wanted to port 4 lines in and tried like heck to get one from them to no avail.
MOTOROLA Still #1 in reception and call clarity.

Femtocell.....It seems USC doesnt offer them or any advice on them by policy.

Im looking for a internet based (or otherwise) cell reception booster that works without a outdoor antenna and a cord to the phone...and am getting more confused the more I look. LOL
My data is OK but if a particular unit combines that fine...its the lack of cell signal that is driving me crazy.

Did you give the Talkatone app a try at all? Pretty sure it will solve your problem.

I have a Wilson antenna booster. I went from 1bar to 4solid bars. It works and is worth the money

Is there one place in the house which has good reception? If so you might use something like XLINK:

    App is Talkatone not Talkatap.

All it does is it allows you to make calls using your wifi.Yes regular calls to anyone.I can now make calls in my basement using it. Don't waste you money on a booster when you can just use this.

You will also have to get Google voice, which you will get a separate phone number from. You will have to forward your number to the Google voice number. The only downside I see is when you make calls,it will use your Google voice number so someone your calling might not answer if they don't recognize the number.

You might even want to give all your contacts your Google voice number. You can have this number for life.

    Eastmark10. It has a small outside antenna, about 1 1/2 ft. The model is a 260 something . $499.00
It works just great. Before I was only able to use a bag phone . Good luck

Honestly, if you need one of those..you need a new service provider.

All other providers don't work well in our area.
