This last is the kind of question that can only be answered in a generic way. The answer is, any dropped call issue is due to coverage/capacity of the selected underlying carrier, and would be roughly the same as the brand-name carriers' subscribers' experience. You make a bad choice of underlying carrier and you'll have coverage issues, but certainly no worse than that carrier's regular customers. The subject of "dropped call" count is something the marketing people of companies like AT&T and Verizon Wireless used to use a lot in beating up on each other when comparing their service in places like big cities, either because one network or the other wasn't built-out enough in a given area, or like when AT&T was having big trouble in NYC and San Francisco a while back when iPhone usage was picking up steam and their network couldn't handle the traffic. Any reports mentioned like "yeah, Straight Talk drops my calls out here in BFE, their coverage sucks" have to be taken as anecdotal, because you've got to do your homework on who has good coverage and in what locations. Knowing that you can get service with practically all available nationwide carriers at a savings, depending on where you're at and where you might want to go, means doing the research and inquiring about all this on sites like Howard Forums will likely pay off in being a more satisfied customer.
